Oh god I feel this. Apple Watch S1, AirPods, and Apple TV so far this year for me.

So I'm not currently enrolled in the iPhone upgrade program that Apple has. I believe they run a credit check before you get approved for it which shouldn't be the issue, but is this something I'll be able to do when I go to preorder the phone on Friday or is it more of a process than that?

 

You have to do it in an Apple Store

 

Sounds like the X will be really hard to come by until early 2018

 

I'll be really annoyed if each phone doesn't start at 64GB

When do preorders normally open

I'm busy on the night of the event and have never done this before

 

Will most likely be Friday, the 15th, at midnight PST.

 

I've had a cracked screen for the past two months. I'll be the first person preordering this week

Don't know if I'm gonna want to get the X, but Im excited to use the Apple Upgrade Program and trade in my 7. Also might pick up a new Apple Watch cause my Series 0 is starting to show light battery degradation and the screen is pretty scratched up.

 

Anyone else ever had their 6S Plus reboot constantly? I think mine is screaming for a factory reset.

 

That is weird. My Iphone 6 has been extremely stable since I got it. A factory reset should fix it.

 

My 7 plus did that a lot in the beginning. Completely forgot about that

 

Clever little extension if you wanna add Favicons to Safari:

Faviconographer – Tab Favicons in Safari for Mac.

Faviconographer asks Safari.app for a list of all visible tabs (and their positions) in the current window, and for the URLs of those tabs.

It then uses that information to fetch the corresponding icons from Safari’s Favicon cache (WebpageIcons.db), and draws them above the Safari window.

It’s a “hack” — the cleanest solution would be Apple implementing Favicons in Safari — but it works surprisingly well.

Note: Faviconographer does not “hack” your system. It does not inject code into other apps or manipulate system files. In fact, it doesn’t even require Administrator access!

I was pretty excited for the event before the leaks. Now the only thing I want to know is the price, just to see how much I can't afford the X lol.

 

Man completely forgot it was today. Can't wait to catch up this afternoon.

 

If I wanna start the Apple upgrade program what do I need to do? Just show up sometime next week or should I/can I make an appointment?
