Man, I would love to hear an album from them more in the vein of Hurt Goes On.

 

The way things are going sounds about right.

The music from the cassette is real cool. Could definitely see Shade making an awesome solo release down the line. Need a rip.

Also saw them on Friday and this band Vein opened who were sick. Very early Converge/Poison the Well sounding

 

You got me interested. There was a band that broke up in 2012/2013 which sounded exactly like your description. I don't remember the name, but I'll get back to you once I find them again.

 

Kerrang put Reba at number 19 on their list of "50 greatest rockstars right now" and that's pretty fucking cool.

finally gave this a listen this past weekend

Bumping this thread because this album rules.

 

saw them last night and they ruled. too bad the crowd sucked, but it was nice to be able to get up front without getting kicked in the head.

Jami is a lot of fun to watch on the drums.

 

This is the only record from 2017 so far that I genuinely can't stop listening to. Especially on my way to work in the morning. If I start my day off listening to Code Orange, no man can destroy me

 

Yeah my top three is probably this record along with Jay Som and Kendrick. This is a surprisingly good headphone record; having a lot of fun picking through the electronic influences. Even the tracks that could be perceived as being more "chugga chugga" have a lot of subtle layers that expose themselves after a lot of listens.

So fun thing I learned: the "Kill the Creator" video was made by Brandon Bolmer aka the singer of Chiodos on Illuminaudio lol

Honestly with how Criag was with them I just assumed it was most likely that he wanted to do his own thing, but yea none of the other members have said anything it seems so it could fully well be they all decided to just stop. Which would be sad.

 

went to their LI show on friday. crowd wasn't nearly as violent as i thought it would be but the layout of the venue made the pit pretty contained

 

record still rules. I wonder if this is Yip's most successful release from a numbers standpoint.

 

violent waves did debut at #15 on the charts

 

Violent Waves was only mixed or mastered by him, I think Descensus was his first production job with Circa. That was the only one I was thinking would be close. This one seems to still be gaining steam from the huge tours and WWE promotion.

 

it didn't chart at all week 1, it needs to just be picking up big time if it actually is his best saleswise

i'm sure the title fight releases have sold quite a bit. same with citizen.

 

it's gearing up for Halloween Season so i'm about to be in the mood to slap this on every night pretty soon! i haven't listened to any Code Orange in a while actually; i just don't get the urge to put them on in the summer for whatever reason.

 

Easily my favorite song on the record, psyched that it got the vid treatment
