Also I'm curious how their other albums fared with that magazine.

 

AP gives 95% of their reviews a score between 3 and 4

 

How is 3.5 a bad score

 

It's a joke of a publication regardless of what they score the album

I'm just desperate to read more about the album

 

yeah not ever going by what Altpress has to say but still inpatiently waiting for more music or some sort of breakdown of this album.

probably a hasty reaction but i think that this is probably the best Circa Survive album that has the word "Amulet" in its title. granted ive only had it for a little while but i think thats a solid assessment

 

Where does it rank among their 10-track albums? Top 2?

all kidding aside i hope you all love it. its sitting at around the middle of their discography for me, its a good album and continues a streak of good albums but its not like a masterpiece or anything.

 

I'm expecting to dig this a lot more than previous releases because those old studio clips they posted have me feeling a certain way
