It's hard to vote against Bought a Bride. That last verse on the Daisy Sessions version makes me feel things. Despite the flawed lyrics in Sink, I can't vote against it

Never knew those existed, went and checked them out on YouTube. You're right, Bought a Bride does sound really good in acoustic form.

Would love to see brackets in the Bayside and Front Bottoms threads but I'm too lazy/stupid to organize them.

Gasoline: I was honestly gonna vote be gone bc i like it and i knew it'd get no votes but i am watching the high and low fest stream and fuck. fuck. they sound so good on that. they should not but they do.

At The Bottom: this was insanely difficult. I basically love every song on this album and that sucks. You Stole might be one of the most tense songs on the album, and I love the added elements every time they get loud all the way to the end. But At the Bottom was one of the first Daisy songs to click with me on an album that tried very very hard to be difficult. It's like drowning and coming up for a gasp; you're still in the middle of a something dark and life changing, but for a second you can find some relief in the panic.

Vices: this was pretty easy. Noro is fantastic but Vices basically encapsulates the album for me. Frenetic catharsis and exorcising anxiety.

Bought A Bride: I will concede that maybe Sink is the better song but Bought a Bride is one of my favorite Brand New songs. The chorus still gives me chills. The way the lyrics are written are interesting and really pretty different from stuff they'd done before. there's still a narrative like they like, but it's a condensed one without jesse's penchant for purple prose. a cool experiment.

Gasoline (Be Gone vs. any song would be pitiful)

At The Bottom (I actually really like You Stole, but I just have to give the edge to ATB)

Noro (I don't think I like Vices as much as some people in this thread)

Sink (This one was tough, but Sink has always been one of my favorites)

Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

Agreed on Noro. Vice isn't bad but I do think it's overhyped. Noro wraps the whole thing up beautifully though.

I love Vices, but I don't think it'd be in my top 5 for the album. Noro is a fantastic closer and an amazing song. It was pretty easy to choose between them, honestly.

Now I'm listening to Daisy while I do homework. Pausing the homework to jam the hell out to At The Bottom.

You Stole (I would rather listen to At the Bottom if we're talking single listens but I like You Stole more in the context of the album)

Vices (Noro is bottom 3 for me bros. Both are great for in the context of the album, so here I'm thinking which I'd rather listen to by itself).

Sink (Bought a Bride has great lyrics but the songwriting on Sink pushes it over the edge)

Noro is the best track on the album for me. Followed up by Gasoline, then Bought A Bride, then Sink.

And Vices is my least favorite next to In A Jar so I'm gonna be extra salty at the end of this round.
