The first two are both good. Never watched Viral just because everyone was saying it was terrible

 

The first VHS should pretty much be an October staple

 

i'm lukewarm on VHS, the shorts are inventive but not fun enough to warrant annual watches, nor cohesive enough to garner significant critical analysis. I do like Swanberg's a good bit, though.

 

It's an early October watch. Not on a double digit date, but maybe as a double feature with House of the Devil.

If we're only doing one anthology per October though we all know what's up

Weird to have the original Halloween and then 2009 Zombie sequel on the list. I think the Zombie remake is worth viewing, but the 2009 sequel is awful.

 

Looking forward to a few of these.

Horror movies that will blow everyone away in 2018

 

For obvious reason we always talk about movies during October, but I was curious if there are any songs that are iconically Halloween for you guys. In the vein of Monster Mash.

Definitely looking forward to Psychopaths, Winchester (been waiting on another Spierig brothers movie!), The Nun, Halloween, and Nosferatu. Curious about Abruptio, Monster Party, and A Quiet Place.

 

been waiting on Psychopaths for awhile. hope it delivers

 

Absolutely adore Predestination, so Winchester is high up there for me.

 

All iterations of "The Monster Fuck" are key Halloween listening

I'm super excited to go through the CBB halloween episodes again this October. I got into CBB around October last year and since I've been through every episode and replayed my favorites a few times and I've been holding off on the Halloween episodes for October.
