Looking back on it I think THAW is probably my favourite Tony Hawk game too. THPS 1 & 2 were great at the time and I hold a lot of nostalgia for them. U1 & 2 were both great 2 but I think overall AW was the game I had the most fun with and the last great TH game that I can remember.

I mean Project 8 was pretty good too, it was more of the same. I personally think THUG1 perfected the formula in terms of the actual skateboarding gameplay.

Until Dawn is a hilarious collection of horror tropes, enjoying how shlocky it is. that said, the frame rate is really bad right? i very rarely am a snob about that, certainly am okay with 30 FPS if that's what it's gotta be, but it actually gives me a headache

I remember some scenes being kinda janky but nothing too bad, I haven't played it basically since release though so Idon't really remember.

Speaking of, I had been playing Just Cause 3 a bit since it was free with PS+ and damn that game suffers from some extreme slowdowns when there's a lot going on on screen. Which I get, but in a game that encourages a lot of chaos, it's super frustrating.

That's an insanely good price for that. I think I got that last Black Friday for $300? Maybe more.

The Xbox can take any eHDD, right? I can no longer deal with the 500GB, constantly deleting games.

Edit: found this one. I like that it'll match my Xbox, plus is has Xbox written on it, so I won't ever have to wonder what it is. :-)

Companies don't want people profiting off of their games when they use hate speech. It makes it look as though they are supporting it. The guy made a bunch of tweets that explains it pretty thoroughly. I fully support his decision even though it could create bad precedence.

Sorry I meant I didn't understand the backlash and people going apeshit over it. It's his game, he's allowed to do whatever he wants with it.

Mostly because it is nowhere near the first time something like this has happened with him and he is still profiting off of it. He is viewed by millions of people, many of which are in their formidable years. Allowing someone that type of platform, using that kind of language is irresponsible on the part of YouTube, game devs, etc. Black balling him is an effective way to make sure things like this don't happen in a community that contains many children that will be shaped by what they hear on stream.

Maybe there isn't a right way to handle this situation, but opening the dialog is important.

Absolutely agree. Just seems like most people are bashing him and Campo Santo as if what he/they're doing is wrong.

Could this potentially be another gamergate?

the gaming community is very well-versed in a) not understanding the law b) overreacting c) blindly defending racist/sexist/bigoted dipshits, so it's sadly super unsurprising

twitter is relatively good at organizing its leftist voices around these issues, but yeah, reddit and yt are very much not

I mean I'm sure none of this will even be talked about before long considering how small Campo Santo is. If it was someone from Bethesda or EA or something I'm sure there would be a different narrative.

Either way I'm glad someone is standing up for things and attempting to do shit about it.

I have way too many physical games and I hate getting rid of games. So I have a huge collection that just chills at my parents house. At some point when I had the original Xbox, I discovered half.com and went to town on used games. Seeing so many games makes me feel a little sad about my life to be honest. : )
