I respect your right to an opinion but its WRONG haha.

It is ANYTHING but a snooze. Its the heaviest music on the entire record!

 

That's how it makes me feel though. Heavy isn't synonymous with engaging.

 

Out of Mana is still my 2nd least favorite on the album, tho it has grown on me a bit. The bridge and the outro are great. The lyrics are just meh for me.

I still only mildly like 451, even though everyone seems to love it. That one is still my least favorite. Sometimes I just want to skip it to get to Batter Up

 

Sometimes I just want to skip Batter Up to get back to Lit Me Up...

 

You Stole puts me to sleep

 

I have faith you'll come around to it.
I love the allegory of a video game for lfe in the lyrics too.

 

I'll pretend that I've got something to say, but I've got nothing

 

I dunno, I've seen it live, I still don't really care for it

 

Anyone else enjoying the album more after hearing some of the tracks live?

Honestly I'm not sure how much of the song is an allegory...I think dude just really enjoys playing WoW lol

 

I already enjoy the album as a whole as much as I probably can, but i have been more hyped on out of mana since seeing the video for it.

 

Why is everyone talking about Brand New?
I thought this was the Archie thread.

 

I'm very thankful for 451, very different song. That heavy part was so good live.. also it's almost the only "belted" Jesse vocals we get on the album besides maybe in the water.

God, Same Logic was fucking unreal live though. Everyone screamed both the, "at the bottom of the ocean" and "god dammit..." lyrics. Nxt lvl.

 

The part at the end of same logic with jesse Kev and Vin harmonizing was so great.

 

Same logic into 451 live was a hell of a one-two punch

 

Did the crowd have enough organization to stagger the singing on the "booooy" part so that it builds properly?

 

It's a very long practice in guitar wankery.

Edit: I don't know if I'm using "wankery" correctly, but you know what I mean.

 

I don't mind my shoegaze so I dig that song. I'm not always in the mood for it though.

I love You Stole within the context of the record. It's always a highlight for me. I'm not so much of a fan of it live though. Brand New still killed it tho
