I see a lot of people saying this, and I've already said it myself, but agreed. There's something about the vocal melody that makes me smile every time. Really, really good.

 

I really love how his voice sounds, esp when it gets to the refrain and the strings kick in for a moment.

 

Do you think there will be keys and beats on the album? I do hope so. I still want them to be experimental.

Nice. They even feel better and higher quality. I like just standard black too. Colors always feel kinda cheap to me.

They really do feel so better/higher quality. I also like getting the rarer variant at times too, but I'll usually go 180g when given the choice.

 

Only reason I choose to avoid 180g is that my record player is a piece of crap and the tone arm is way too light to play them properly. (Sometimes I tape a penny to it but I'm always nervous that this is ruining my records).

I never saw one episode of that show when it aired. Heard it was pretty good though.

 

Does anyone have a ripped copy of Built This Pool where the DJ doesn't talk over the part where Travis says "Is that really it?". Cause I know they played it twice and I don't think the DJ spoke over it on the first listen.

Honestly, they should just make it available to digital download for $1.29 just like BTD. I'd love to see how many people pay for it.

 

Bored to Death is currently #15 in "Top Songs" on iTunes. Pretty awesome, especially during the same week that Beyonce released a new record.

 

Does anyone know if the standard retail variant is also 180 grams?

Because I would really like to preorder from Amazon, but am unsure which variant they are selling.

Might just place an order w/ Kings Road Merch just to be safe, but since the record doesn't come out until July, I'd like a little bit of time before I have to pay for it.
