I genuinely wonder what'll happen if the deal with wwe happens, I have about a million questions, like does their ring suddenly become a 20x20, do they keep doing shows at the electric ballroom or will they be forced to sell in a bigger venue? Will it be called progress? and will the ring not have all the progress stuff on? (Mostly just the way the show looks, like will WWE give them a makeover or keep it progress)

@Henry tbh now that I think about it, it'll probably end up looking like the U.K. Championship special or the original tourney..

 

Im hoping WWE realizes the way forward is to leave promotions as they are, and use them as a type of farm system. Charge a higher price for non-WWE content basically, and just use their infrastructure to make other companies streaming not suck.

And they can run stuff like the CWC/MYC every year or so to boost new talent. I think making the Dusty Rhodes classic its own standalone thing would be smart, for example.

Gotta imagine that is HHH's vision, longer term

 

With all of the female talent influx in NXT, I would be tempted to maybe start a women's tag team division

 

Wwe can't even handle a women's singles division

 

NXT could probably handle a women's tag division though. Peyton and Billie with tag titles would be the greatest

 

What issues have there been with NXT? they've consistently booked it really well.

feels weird to think where Smackdown was a year ago. AJ just became champ and would begin a 3-4 month long feud with Ambrose (and Cena) that would create James Ellsworth's legend. Becky became inaugural womens champ. Heath Slater capped off his free agent story by becoming tag champ. Ziggler took the loss that built to No Mercy.

Now Ellsworth gets more tv time and storyline than everyone but AJ. They basically threw away 3 months long stories for some silly short-term booking.

 

They had to think of ways to make smackdown worse

 

Man, I wish that Botchamania was just the entire TripleMania commentary. They took some of the best bits, but it was so fucking bad.
