Edit* To answer you, if you have a good player/setup then 180g has a pretty big difference in sound. It's also just sturdier, won't spin all funky or get warped as easily.

 

Haha I agree, I didn't come up with it. It's just interesting how the band went with it (intentional or not) and put a J on Neighborhoods.

Reaaaaally digging "Bored to Death." Wasn't sure how I'd feel about a Tom-less Blink on record, even though they seemed like a better live band all the way around with Matt. Any concerns I had are mostly null now.

I'll be going to the Bangor, Maine date. Might spring for VIP, depending on the price.

Funny thing is... It's cheaper to order the deluxe package from the US than the EU store, and you get it signed with a drumhead.

I have the audiotechnica lp 120 and audioengine 5 speakers so I think that is a decent setup. Im trying to see if canceling my order will get me my money back.

 

Enema's a fun, well made album.

 

I've never been a huge fan, and don't love "Bored to Death", but even so -- it's hard not to feel excited about all the buzz around the band right now. I'm really hoping this album turns out to be awesome.

 

Amazon better have the same 180g black that Kings Road has. Bout to order it yup

 

Always is. Not to be rude to blink or anything, but putting your new song under the "rock" genre will very easily get you the top spot on the charts rather than if you listed it as alternative.

 

@Jason Tate or anyone else.. Anyone come across a high-res copy of the black album cover from the vinyl? I think I prefer that one.

Agreed. If 180g is an option. It's always the right option. No matter the color. Really wish I could choose to have the 180g over the purple in that 75 dollar bundle.

Edit: My brother just wants the purple. Might Swap him discs and have him pick up the Black so I can keep the autographed sleeve.

 

It's cool/funny how many songs they can make out of such basic song structures, from a guitar perspective. Not hating, just cool. Learning Blink songs as a teenager was always fun because it sounded like the records.

 

We will make this forum a warm inviting inclusive Blink environment, just like a... STOP IT, brain! I'll just leave it at that. Warm, inviting and inclusive environment.
