Right? I just don't wear a lot of band tees anymore so I don't have a lot of use for the bundles, so it's annoying. But yeah it then could implement something like that, I would like it better at least.

 

Probably going to pull the trigger on the U-Turn next month with the Audioengine A2 speakers. Debating what kind of preamp I should get to pair with it.

I want something I can use to connect to the speakers and use for a pair of headphones. Do I need a separate headphone amp for that? I've studied these diagrams a few times and am still lost at sea.

What you could do (which is how mine is currently set up) is hook up your turntable + preamp up to a receiver via the AUX input and that receiver will have a headphone jack that you can switch to when you aren't using your speakers. That requires passive speakers though so that wouldn't work if you do get a set of powered speakers. In that case I'd say you might need a separate amp for headphone use, unless you find an amp that can switch between speakers and headphones.

 

The way I have mine set up is: Turntable to pre-amp to receiver. My Zone 2 output sends the audio to a Bluetooth transmitter and my Bluetooth headphones connect to that. Works and sounds phenomenal. My headphones pair as soon as I turn them on. I can also unplug the transmitter to wire my headphones in.

 

I have the very basic setup of AT LP60 & powered speakers, so all this talk of preamps & receivers is confusing for me. One day I'll take the training wheels off. Maybe

 

It sucks because pretty much every release that coincides with MerchNow is like this, and definitely most Rise / Hopeless releases. I actually liked the shirt with the LMTF flame on it, so I jumped on that bundle, but it is such a bummer - I agree. I have lucked out in the past with Have Mercy's 2nd album and Emarosa's Versus, where the bundles got broken up eventually because they didn't sell through the variant during the preorder, so I had my chance at a rare variant for those ones. You may get lucky later on rolling the dice with LMTF. I don't think the last album sold out of the rare variant for them either.

 

Did anyone else order the Orange pressing of After Laughter and it hasn't shipped yet because it got backordered and apparently won't ship till the 14th? I'm confused since I bought mine right when it went up for pre-order and I've seen a bunch of people are getting theirs

 

That is odd. I didn't place my order until a couple weeks ago and my confirmation did say it was on backorder and would ship after 9/8, but I got a shipping confirmation a couple days ago and it will be delivered next Wednesday

 

I'm in the same boat. Kinda pissed about it.

 

I think it must be the way UO works, because I have Britney Spears ordered and it changed to backorder with a later shipping date.

 

I guess it could be that their orders got slowed down at whatever pressing plant they use. I'm mostly just bummed since I've been anticipating getting this record for so long

That's what I have too, but I'm waiting on a Marantz receiver to sell in my area. It's annoying but I know if I hold out long enough, one will pop up. People sell shit out of their parents basements without even realizing what it is around here.

Just bought my first flexi and it feels so damn weird holding this thing.

 

I usually delete my Discogs notifications in my email because it's usually just Blond for $300, but this one was a copy of Fireworks' "All I Have to Offer..." for $25 + shipping. Instant purchase

 

I ordered mine the minute it went on sale, still don't even have a shipping confirmation about it. Getting really bummed and jealous of everyone who has their copies already.


Also: does anyone know when PVRIS preorders will be shipped or ready? I saw a copy in a store over the weekend was also bummed I haven't got that yet either.

 

Did you order from the pvris US store? They've started shipping the white out already, not sure about the smoke, since I haven't seen that on any social media posts yet. I got the smoke from the AUS store and it hasn't shipped yet.

 

Yea I got the smoke. I will just keep patiently waiting haha just was curious.

 

I'm kinda guessing the delay is with the smoke variant, since I've seen the white variant on instagram since the release date pretty much.

 

I also preordered the smoke, and am currently smokeless. I think they said it would ship out in the next 10 days?
