I decided to not add a credit card, I'm just going to buy codes, Sony had way too many problems in the past.

So far: I like the UI a lot, I don't like the store, not a fan of the controller layout but I like the size and weight. I'm gonna play Yakuza 0 first.

 

Don't get me started on that controller...

 

I've always preferred Sony's controllers to Microsoft's . Part of why I've always owned Playstations.

 

Xbox Controller and Dualshock 4 are fine to me. I played xbox only from 2003-2013 and the transition to the dualshock 4 was easy for me at least.

 

I think my biggest issue is how small they are and are not really ergonomically designed. They don't effect gameplay but the mapping is a little odd at times.

 

I haven't played with the One controller a ton but I like the DS4 more than the 360 controller (and way more than the awful DS3), I find it pretty comfortable for my hands. Switch Pro is very comfy too.

 

I don't like the analog stick layout mostly but's it's fine

 

Nah, for me the X isn't worth the $500. I'd rather pay $180 or so now to get the upgraded S and then in 2-3 years do the X depending on price. Don't need 4K gaming right now although it would be cool.

If the X was $400 I think I'd be more interested, but $500 eh...

Exactly, which I'm fine with. S will hold me over, my Day One console will not haha.

Then if I see the X for a ridiculous deal I may bite. Thing is I just don't play the hours I used to so dropped $500 for something I won't utilize 100% right away is a stretch.

 

I can't see that happening. The general public is almost brain dead. That would confuse the hell out of them.

 

All the Destiny 2 hype about the campaign has me very intrigued...Podcast Unlocked team was really happy with it and I know most of them were critical of the first. May have to snag it on Black Friday.

 

It's pretty good. I finished it last night. It's a Far Cry™ from Halo® 1/2/3 levels of campaign, but it's leaps and bounds better than D1's. I'd give the campaign like a 7 or so, but everything else added on top of that, I'd give the game a preliminary 9 so far.

In Battlefield I have the most fun in hardcore servers placing C4 all over the place and running around blindly shooting my shotgun. There are casualties on both sides, but hey.

 

In bf4, I would put c4 on helicopters, and damage them when teammates took off. It was also fun running teammates over in ATVs.

 

Oh C4ing all the vehicles in your own base was the best. The thing I really don't like about Battlefield 1 is that they changed bow vehicles spawn because I can't do that anymore, haha.
