Wowwuhhh the Richard Simmons thing sounds fascinating. I was recently asking someone wtf happened to Richard Simmons. I thought he just stepped out of the limelight, I didn't realize there was like a "thing" about it.

Also, the Heavens Gate thing seems cool. I love hearing anything that has to do with cults.

 

They didn't direct that, though, they did write the screenplay.

I haven't seen the Matrix trilogy in a long time. 2 and 3 aren't the worst things I've ever seen, but I don't remember thinking they were anything above okay. I thought they were better in concept than in execution. I do feel that one of my issues with 2 is that the characters start to feel less human. Like, in the first one, at the end of it all Neo is fighting Agent Smith and there is so much weight to that fight. You can feel every punch and our main character is in peril. Then in Reloaded you have a scene that is a cgi mess where Neo takes on like fifty Smiths at once and they are all rag dolling and he fights them off as if they were set to Lvl 1 on Super Smash Bros. I understand that Neo is more powerful at this point, but it's not interesting. To be honest, I think the first Matrix is the only thing by the Wichowskis that I think reaches greatness.
