I have and its awesome

 

Listening to this now and it's great. I want to see them live really badly now lol

 

They're incredible live, one of the most dynamic live bands I've seen and I've really only seen them in basements lol

 

Their new stuff will more closely resemble the versions on Audiotree than LP I would think. I remember during the interview parts of the session, Matt mentioned how the new stuff would be a bit more aggressive/gritty. I so hope that's the case, I mean they are already great but if they do go the heavier route it would be incredible. They are already dynamic but it could take them to a whole new level. I'm still so curious to find out what label they will land on. Sargent House - ARTISTS would be cool.

 

I'm checking out Animal Flag right now but their band name is poop

New Blis. record comes out soon. I forgot about that one. On the same day as Citizen. Fall season is stacked. What a year for new music this has been. I thought 2016 was good then 2017 came along and said hold my drink, wowza

Edit: @teebs41 this was one of the bands I had recommended in the general BN thread.

 

I said the same thing about 200 pages back lol. My guess was maybe Coasta. Which would be cool, keep it in the family. But I'm sure at some point Greater Pyrenees will be releasing a follow up. Anything related to Colour Revolt would be great. El Obo, etc

 

I only popped in here again to see if that one new guy got banned yet and it happened like 14 pages ago lol

I'm sure I saw and just forgot lol. GP will probably be releasing something this year or next year. I saw them in New Orleans and they played two new songs, saying they've been writing a new album. I really liked their first album, even though it fell flat for most folks around here haha

 

Would love to see a band like Show Me the Body open

 

It was only ok to me not bad just not something I ever went back to so kinda forgettable unfortunately. But Sean is a great guy talked to him when I saw Brand New in Montreal last year.

Late to the party but the switch to 3/4 for the bridge in Not the Sun is one of my favorite moments on the album. And this verse from Archers are some of my favorite lyrics on the album.
