We still haven't pulled the trigger on Pvris tickets for a show in a couple weeks.

Not sure where to post about this, but it makes me super angry. This is a really crazy story in a small town a few minutes from me. The police shot the wrong guy in a hostage situation, which has been known since the incident, but they definitely made it out to seem as if it was their only option. Now that the video has come out, it's so obvious how bad they fucked up, and it makes me so angry. Fuck them. They lied about multiple things as well.

I am pretty much broke and it's like the Thursday after Mother's Day.

 

I don't mind the new Blink-182 song at all but I also don't get why people defend these 40 year old dudes who act like children and make jokes that are either potty humor or they're just punching down. "It's not as bad as the past songs that said worse" is an even worse argument imo.

Staged dived for the first time last night to Turnstile, got dropped and hit the floor hard lmao. Probably will not do that again ha

 

A lot of their music hasn't. The "joke" songs are painful.

 

So I took the day off cause I deserve too and I shouldn't have to convince myself of that.

I'm not gonna walk into work a giant snot bucket.

 

I was going to stay home because I couldn't move my neck the other day but I seem to take to many days.

 

I just got 2 of my baby cousin's graduation invitations in the mail. So this is what it's like to get old...Now I have to give graduation presents.

 

I'm the opposite. I have worked on a stiff neck and am that coworker who keeps sneezing and coughing because I'm still able to do work. I just hate myself.

 

I just moved myself into our lab so that I never see people anymore. Too many loud conference calls and sick people. I'm a recluse.

 

I'm already dreading the crowd of their summer tour.

 

I should stay out of that Blink thread. Clearly the only one who thinks making childish offensive jokes at the expense of other people is a bad thing and people should be okay with it "because the band is doing it for fun and just having fun"

Unrelated but I also hate when fast food drive thrus have people outside taking orders on a tablet. If I wanted to interact with a person I'd order inside

Just scrolled past that on FB. Yikes.

 

The new clip has lyrics about the reason he built a pool was to see naked dudes, which made a gay user here feel uncomfortable. And that band has songs about fucking dogs among others, so I don't see why it's so unbelievable that people would be offended by a band of 40 year old men still acting that way.

 

It is a perfect time capsule, like I had flashbacks of that year pop up in my head after watching that.
