Just listened to this finally(long record had to find time) Incredible record!

 

Personally, I can only take so many heartfelt awful posts until it becomes annoying over funny.

Wait, did Blakebeats get banned? I just assumed since it was after Labor Day, he left to start his first week of high school.

It's a tough time for everyone. I was sure he wanted to focus all of his attention on making a good impression.

 

Banned.

 

They'll never take his freedom though

 

It's for the best. Now he will have more time for extracurriculars and such. It's important in that first year of high school to get involved.

 

The thing about blakebeats is that half the time he wasn't even arguing necessarily bad takes to begin with (a lead singer is harder to replace in terms of commercial viability of a band going forward/the way the band is viewed by the general public), but when he got pushed on the takes, instead of refining his argument to explain what he was trying to say, he just lost all focus and ended up saying really really stupid things (drummers can easily be replaced without anyone even noticing).

One of the great misunderstood minds of our time. One day we will look back on the wisdom he tried to impart on us with equal parts gratitude and regret.

But seriously it was hilarious to see all the bad takes I had in high school living on through someone with such conviction from someone in their 20s. (I believe he really was 24). I'm not crying, you're crying.

I was just riffing on the @CoffeeEyes17 joke that blakebeats was a teenager.

 

Blakebeats wasn't banned, it's his tenth birthday so he's beginning his journey in the Kanto region. He overslept so he's rushing over to professor Oak's lab in hopes that he's not too late.

 

I'm really embarrassed about how hard I laughed at this.

I never read one of Blake's posts. Every time I saw his name I just continued scrolling. Honestly, if it weren't for him, this thread would probably just be at like 300 pages.

I do wish he was banned like his first day. I agree with @teebs41 this thread did basically turn into a chat thread because he was obnoxious to talk about the album with. Not that I'm mad it turned into a chat thread ha, it's great. Just woulda been nice to embrace this album a little longer.

 

the supporters thread is sort of dead too, It's like now the album is out people have sort of settled down and almost have a sense of relief ha.

 

In absolutepunk's Glory days, the BN thread was always a chat thread. Where's my good friend @sophos34 ?
