chelsea wolfe, circa, killers, lights, noah gundersen, and phoebe bridgers. And I just realized I have Sleeping with Sirens on my anticipated list haha which probably won't be good but I'll still check it out

I leave for work just after four AM most days and so I drive around at a very scary time to be out and listening to this album recently while doing it is pretty scary sometimes.

gotta say blakebeats isn't really that bad, mostly harmless. an easy target for punchlines and a little combative but I made my name in this community being combative so props

I'll be listening to the SWS album as well but I'm expecting it to be trash.

I'll have to check out the last two artists you mentioned, never heard of them.

Yes...but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts

This was a few pages ago, but literally every time @sophos34 starts talking about his infinite love for Thursday, muscle memory takes over and before I know it Past and Future Ruins is destroying the peace here

Also to everyone with suggestions the previous night, thank you! Ezra listened to MO's "The Maze" before anything else in his life. Kind of cool. Or not, whatever. Back to changing diapers and 3 hours of sleep enduring a child screaming for his boob juice , love you all.

back in 09 the brand new thread was the only thread i posted in and just in that thread i discovered a lot of new stuff. took me a while to venture out into other parts of the website but once i did i became super comfortable and close with the community, found a bunch of new shit, and havent stopped posting since. i was even a staff member writing reviews on ap from 2013 til last year when it became chorus and i decided to stop writing. itd be great if you at least came by every now and then, as much as we fuck around in this thread the community as a whole is very welcoming and you're bound to make some good friends. ive made some of my best friends in the world on this website and have met well over 15 people from ap/chorus in real life, some of whom ive hung out with in real life so much they arent even considered my internet friends now. and i met my girlfriend through ap, we started talking on twitter because we knew each other on ap and within a few months she was visiting me in st louis (she lived in philly, actually the story is a lot deeper than that i was like wildly addicted to heroin for a while and when we started talking it was the first real human connection beyond friendship id felt in literally almost 5 years, a huge part of me deciding to quit and do a rehab program was so i could be with her so she kind of saved me), ended up living with me for a few months then i moved to philly at the beginning of this year and we've now been dating for over 14 months and im convinced ive met my soul mate (we both have fight off your demons tattoos, thats how we know its meant to be). point is, this website can do great things for your life. no joke.

finally all caught up with this thread

I'm not offended at being called a "them" it's just odd for me to read because it's so grammatically weird. Singular/plural matches. My research teacher would get pissed at people who used "their" to refer to a singular person because of the grammatical mistake. "Them" is plural, which is why I thought it was odd that I was being referred to as a plural. Besides, I thought I made it clear that I was a male. Even if you didn't think I was and called me a "she", I'd just clear it up and say I wasn't. Not a big deal. I know the "assume my gender" thing is a huge meme, but I'm not going to be offended if you assumed I was the wrong gender. It's not malicious or anything.

assuming gender is a meme amongst right wing trolls who think its funny to discredit nonbinary/genderfluid/trans people. they/them is a perfectly acceptable pronoun to use for someone who identifies as such. it is hard for people who have been conditioned to use just he/him she/her all their lives to make the switch to they/them but its not hard to make an effort and genuinely respect how people choose to identify and prefer to be identified.

I understand, but I never said I was a nonbinary/trans person who requested the use of "they/them". If that issue came up then that's one thing but I don't know why I was thought of as a trans person

You weren't. You use they/them when you don't know bc it's a neutral pronoun. Now I know I'll use he/him
