I don't show up to social gatherings unless I know and like over half the people. I faked sick to get out of dinner last week because there was going to be one person there that I didn't like.

 

Haha I usually do this. Me and my dad both pulled up to my brothers and saw he in laws were here and both contemplated just backing out and leaving.

 

Wouldn't the preorders have counted for the initial charting last week considering it was sent to us digitally?

 

From my understanding of how they set it up: Digital buys would have, physical albums did not. Thomas talks more about how it was probably set up for what counted/didn't count on the podcast coming this week.

I like the chorus.fm podcast and I really enjoyed the last one with all of the Brand New talk.

I think Jason should do a web series though, following in the footsteps of Jerry Seinfeld and iCarly. He could interview bands at restaurants and call the show "Emos in Eateries Eating Elotes."


Edit: Entrées might work better as the last word, but I thought of Elotes first for some reason.

okay I'm on page 20 of this thread. out of 600. I know there isn't hope to read through it all but damnit I want to.

And I am sad that this is my first time posting about all of this. I was so caught up and overwhelmed with eveyrthing going on I didn't even get a chance to come in here (what's wrong with me?!)
but I did do a first listen with a group chat going with @Aaron Mook and others and that was really nice.

Didn't listen to Science Fiction yesterday or today though, will jump back on it tomorrow.

The National will eat up some of my time now, however. And I've been addicted to this Julien Baker first album lately. Thomas Rhett new album on Friday, Foo Fighters next week, and then The Killers and Enter Shikari the week after that. So lots of new music that will finally make me stop listening to Science Fiction as much as I have been.
