Duh, you start 1st so you can appreciate the progression and growth of these complex characters.

 

I usually like to start with a bands most recent album, if I like it then I go back and listen chronologically.

 

Don't you dare mention Kendrick Lamar in the same conversation as Ed Sheeran. They freaking teach college courses on Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly.

 

You're absolutely right. My wife is an insurance claims adjuster, and occasionally comes home crying from dealing with shitty people.
On Friday she had a guy who requested a new adjuster because my wife "has a black sounding name". People are the worst.

Good morning everyone! I don't knkw what I've missed in this thread but this morning the very first thing I did was bought a Super Nintendo USB emulator controller off of amazon so I'm really happy

I hope it works good!! I've heard sometimes they can lag, but this one had good reviews on Amazon so I have high expectations

I need to get one of those. The Super Nintendo is easily my favorite of the Nintendo consoles!

 

Frustrated as hell trying to preorder a classic mini SNES. I just know I'm not getting one. I refuse to pay $150 on eBay, or whatever crazy price they'll go for.

 

What are the vocal harmonies on batter up? To me it sounds like a more open harmony, 4ths or 5ths?

I wanted a Nintendo Classic pretty much just for Zelda and Super Mario Bros. 3 but I didn't get one in store or pre-order and they were in the $200 range on eBay

 

Yeah I have a cheap offbrand console that plays SNES and NES games so I figured I wouldn't even bother trying to get one. It would be nice for the games it comes with though. I hate having to track down the games I want to play that I don't already own.

 

I have the NES mini. I'd love to get the SNES, but idk if it's worth the stress.

94% drop in sales week to week. Around 3-4k sold in the second week. Outside the SPS Top 50.

 

If I'm remembering correctly, wouldn't that make it the largest second week drop off for a number one album ever?

 

Wow, I knew it'd drop off but I didn't think it'd drop off THAT much. I thought maybe it'd be around 15k

unsurprising. once all the brand new fans bought the album who's left to buy it? this isnt the kind of album that was meant to pick up new fans. its very much a love letter to their base.

 

Exactly how I look at it. They gave their fans exactly what they wanted and we put them in the no. 1 spot by everyone buying the record. Everyone who found out late bought it the second week .

 

Is this the lack of promotion taking effect? Now that the fans have it, any other sales will be through word of mouth

 

I still have my original SNES, but it would be nice to hook this up to my nice tv with hdmi. Plus the in game rewind feature sounds really cool, because some of those games are hard as hell.
Not to mention it's going to be the only way to play the fully completed version of Starfox 2.
