Re-watching S3 now and Jesus Christ this exchange in e05 when Princess Carolyn is on a blind date with a white rhinoceros:

Rhino: I'm a gynecologist, I specialize in fertility. Tell you what, I'd be happy to put you in the stirrups and take a look at the ol' cat eggs.
PC: Not if you were the last albino rhino gyno on the planet.
Rhino: Well I'm the only albino rhino gyno I know. Should we get some wine?
PC: Oh great you're also a wine addict.

 

Hahahaha. I loved this entire bit. Such a ridiculous setup.

I always feel like Bojack's comedy is just a series of really well done so-bad-its-good jokes which probably doesn't make sense because then it's not a bad joke anymore.

Some more examples: All the Single Dollars, the whole Bic/Becca bit, the entire idea of Vincent Adultman, Happy Birthday Diane and Use A Pretty Font, and most importantly Hollywoo.

So many gems.

 

The Oscar nomination chalkboard is so many ludicrous puns crammed into a background joke. "Tom Hardy, who is a cat".

 

Can't wait for this weekend so I can watch the entire season haha

I was sick this weekend and the thing that upset me most was knowing that I got sick one weekend too early

 

the idea of how quickly and effortlessly everyone started referring to it as "Hollywoo" is one of my favorite bits ever

 

I'll be spending my birthday binge-watching this. Best birthday party ever.

So excited! My wife (who inexplicably hates Bojack) is out tomorrow evening so binge ahoy!

 

I literally spent all day today thinking it was the 8th and was about to come in here raging about its inexplicable absence from Netflix.

Turns out it was quite explicable after all. What a whirlwind this was.

 

I'm gone all weekend, but hopefully will get around to it in the next few weeks

:( I guess it will go up later. I was up watching this football game and hoped I could just stay up a little later to watch an EP. Now I have to wait through a whole work day. Oh well.
