Chick fila does a foster care thing. My friend's parents were drug addicts and in jail so she took care of her younger brother but she couldn't financially support him anymore so he went into the foster homes they have. On the website they look all great like a happy family but he said it was awful. They do send you to college which is cool but fuck em cuz they're shitty bigots.

I feel like in 30-50 years the consumption of meat will be looked on with absolute disdain and there's a massive ethical reasoning behind not eating meat. And yet every time I try I end up having health issues and just can't end up doing it. It's a weird brain/body thing. I've tried. And I see the future. And yet my body is like "nope"!

 

I do get 100% what you're saying tho. Totally agree with that point.

I think I'm too picky to go veg but I do monitor my meat intake and eat ethically sourced meat whenever possible

 

My meat and energy consumption is my moral weak spot. I'm very very bad at being environmentally responsible.

 

I just ate an entire cheese pizza. For activism.

 

I'm pretty good with energy consumption. We've had the AC set to 78 all summer and the house has been fine at that temp. Will eventually be putting solar panels in on the roof when we can afford it.

But yeah, meat ain't going away. Chickens and Cows are way too delicious for me to give up. I think most of the brands I buy are not factory farm types...or at least they claim not to be.

There is a finite number of times I can watch literal warmongers denounce """violence""" at protests before my head explodes. I don't know the number but I can't imagine I have much longer here on Earth
