Paramore Send “Fake Happy” to Radio

Great move Paramore! But I imagine that sick lil acoustic intro will be cut for the radio edit. The radio kids will never know the anxious delight of waiting to hear that synth kick in after the acoustic intro :/

Doesn't strike me as anything special or spectacular. Looking at the old playlist i see its definitely on the 'least played' of the new album... i dont know, i think its kinda boring and 'eh'. paramore has set the standards really high

I was also one of the few that only really liked a select handful of songs from the album.

 

Makes sense to me; though, it feels stylistically a bit different than the other two singles, so I am curious how it will be received (by the "general public," so to speak).

 

Hoping they open Tour Two with the intro for fake happy

 

....and then go right into Idle Worship.

Haha, well, more like "not us." People who are casual listeners of music, who turn on the radio because they don't dictate their own listening habits to hyper-controlled extents like I am assuming most of the users of this site do (it is a forum dedicated to music, after all). Ain't It Fun won a grammy, and it wasn't the emo kids, but the mainstream, that got them there.

 

Yes fair point! I guess we'll see if the 'ain't it funners' are 'fake happy' too!

 

Song is incredible, album is incredible, great job.

 

I really hope this blows up. I think it has the potential to.

Question for more savvy industry types: is this album eligible for Grammy consideration?
