Celebrating my first anniversary with my wife this weekend. What should be a joyous occasion has become morose. Our dog, who was diagnosed with lymphoma 3 months ago, has taken a turn for the worse. So glad I have a large collection of sad bastard music to help me/us through this trying time.

In other news, this thread has given me a ton of laughs and has helped keep my mind off of everything. I never know what to expect coming into it and it rarely disappoints. Keep it up.

Sorry, not trying to detail the thread! Love reading your guys' marriage/SO stories and how this community brings people together. Was a long-time lurker on AP.net and seldom felt comfortable posting in the forums. Still don't post a lot on here, but enjoy the (mostly) good natured discourse and am glad Jason still provides this kind of outlet. Cheers

Weighing in on if a drummer can be replaced: I was very upset when Tony Thaxton left Motion City because his drum parts were absolutely an integral part of the music they made. I liked Claudio as a replacement, but to argue that there wasn't a noticeable change is absurd.
