First impression: Song is OK. Well produced. Lyrics made me cringe a little.

 

I wish we'd have another song... why the delay!

 

Today: Album Bundles, Ticket on sale dates(rumored to be today?), VIP goes on sale as well some point today probably

 

No tickets on ticketmaster for shows yet - or at least, you know... the ones we haven't seen yet.

 

I don't know if i believe tickets will go on sale immediately

 

Yah someone stated that a venue posted tickets will go on sale today at noon. My first assumption would be that presales will start Tuesday

 

Bad timing, then. Lots of bills to pay. Dunno about shelling out $60 *2. :/

 

I'm going to San Antonio and the xgames. I fucking vehemently hate paid meet and greets and the entire idea behind them, but heaven knows my will and morals will be tested if they do them and they're "reasonably" priced. I'd only be doing it for Skiba. Haha.

Did we all stay up listening to one song, and not sleeping? Good god.... 1 1/4 hrs til the interview!

Yay, UK timezones. It will be like 3pm here when they are live.
I hope they have some UK preorder packages.

 

My guess is KROQ will post a video like they did after the premiere yesterday. But a good summary or running notes will be good to get an idea of what was said until we can all listen for ourselves.

 

Good morning from MA, all! I vanished most of last night but man was it fun following along in here. What a day. Very much enjoying the new song. Will be shutting my office door at 10 and plugging in the headphones to listen to the interview! Will also be checking Ticketmaster like a madman for onsale times, haha

 

Viking Wizard Eyes was credited on Dogs Eating Dogs as well. I remember seeing it on Rdio, but I thought it was just a joke at first.

 

Well Bored to Death is a good listen. Why were people worried? Sounds like a mix or Blink/+44 with splash of Trio

 

I just got to work so I will probably be a little late to the party, but I'm excited anyhow!

 

I think it's a solid track! The biggest thing this album needs to be (for me anyways) is fun. I guess if Weezer can put out an amazing album in 2016, then anything is possible and this could be great as well.

 

Still wishing they'd just sell it digitally today. KROQ already posted a pic on their Instagram with the tour dates. If they are just getting on to announce bundles are up for sale I'll sigh as I preorder one.

 

The song is doing great on iTunes so far. "Up All Night" didn't fare that much better and that was their comeback single, released with their classic lineup. I'm surprised with its performance so far. :)

These are the peaks in three major markets and it's still rising:

US: #26; UK: #21; AUS: #21; CAN: #34.

If I recall correctly, "Up All Night" peaked at #19 in the US store. I may have that info saved somewhere...

 

Yeah, I could tell it first listen. I guess I understand with the production but it was obvious to me. At least nobody's complained that they didn't get somebody more nasally like Pierre Bouvier or some shit. Instantly like this more than anything they put out since the Untitled. They obviously work together great.

Had a day to gather my thoughts. I do like the song a lot but gotta agree it's just too different without the sound of Tom's voice. They've done really well but I feel like it belongs on +44's album. It's still not better than anything pre-Neighborhoods for me.

Also just looked at the track titles. I wonder what 'Sober' and 'No Future' are about.
