I spent the entirety of my computer lit class in high school on absolutepunk. Any of you remember the "create album art from MS Paint" thread? That was my jam. I actually made some okay stuff haha

 

I made an anniversary slideshow with that song 2 years, she melted haha.

I don't remember when I joined, I think around 2009 when Daisy released, and didn't start posting much until Shone (lol), but still mostly lurked until now (edit: now meaning when Chorus started. I also submitted a few news stories toward the end of AP.net)

 

We thought about the parts but we decided that the lyrics just felt too personal and told a clear story about andy and his wife. We may change our song but I do love the kensrue track so who knows. That Dustin solo record is really underrated

I started lurking in 08 after finding the Lost in the Sound of Separation review and probably joined in 2011/2012.

 

The slideshow I posted on my wife's Facebook this year focused more on pictures of us with our kids and I used The Maze. Great minds think alike haha

 

Yeah I totally understand that actually. And yeah definitely that record is incredible tbh like you said so underrated. My gf is a huge City and Colour fan but after i introduced her to Dustin she fell in love with that record and now she loves Dustin almost as much as Dallas. Her fave song is There's Something Dark but yeah that whole record is so good. Of Crows is def one of the best too great choice

 

The scavenger hunt thing was fun while it lasted haha. I think I was the first to send them the compiled image of the canvases that made the album cover. What a wild ride lmao

 

I think I joined slightly after Deja or something but didn't post anything until waaaaay later. Like I think I didn't post til the lead up to Daisy. And even then it was pretty sporadic till we moved over here

 

I've only ever gotten into one argument with @Jason Tate and it was about an anberlin record back in maybe 2009? Do you remember it? I think it was dark is the way, light is a place, I said I didn't like it bc it was too poppy. Really pissed you off. I actually like that album a decent amount now when I revisit anberlin, which doesn't happen enough.

 

I honestly don't even remember when I joined AP must of been around the same time I joined RYM so around 2005/2006. I wish I knew exactly when it was but that sounds about right year wise. I didn't post very much for a long time just lurked then slowly but surely I started being more active and much more from 2013-2014 on it took me awhile to break out of my shell I guess lol

 

Before AP I was very active on a Chevelle music board lol
