Before I moved I managed a movie theatre and 90% of my movie watching was alone and late at night. Now I've experienced both the young teen garbage crowd and the old people who don't know how to whisper crowd. It genuinely makes me anxious when I sit in a theatre and I hear whispering and bags crumpling and all that shit. I hate it haha

 

haha same boat dude. I've worked at a theater for almost 3 years now (with other side jobs) and I dread going to see a movie. The littlest annoyance will ruin it for me. Though I did just see Good Time in an empty theater yesterday, it was heaven.

 

Lmao. You're me. I saw Brigsby Bear last week and I was the only one in there. It was both amazing and kind of sad haha. I worked at my theatre for just over three years until I had to move for school. I miss it tbh

My girlfriend and I are both off this Friday, gonna go to our theatre that is generally a ghost town at the earliest afternoon showing to avoid annoying crowds.
I'm so excited.

 

Does she like horror movies? My wife can't stand them, but I made a deal with her that if she went to watch It with me, that I would go watch the new Pitch Perfect film with her.

 

As much as me if not more! When I met her she was wearing a Deep Red shirt

 

I'm waiting until Monday so I can see it with a friend. Gonna be a long weekend

Probably gonna have to wait until week after release, already doing a bunch of stuff that weekend though

 

My girlfriend is beyond freaked to see this on Saturday so I showed her the Georgie sewer scene in hopes that Pennywise is not nearly as bad as she might be imagining. It did the opposite effect.

 

So pumped for Thursday!
