related, I really enjoyed the fist season of Santa Clarita Diet. Tim Olyphant is so awesome.

Finally watched It Comes at Night. Mixed feelings - dislike dream state stuff, but I really like "the awful shit humans can do to each other" type of horror movies.

 

Besides The Dark Tower, this is the biggest letdown of 2017 for me.

I knew The Dark Tower would be terrible. It Comes at Night had so much hype.

It Comes at Night sucks. I didn't want to admit it to myself, but now that the dust has settled.....blah

 

Take away the hype, it still offers absolutely nothing new to the whole, "humans are their own worst enemy" premise. It's all been done before.

 

Little Evil is out on Netflix today. Might check it out sometime this weekend.

I'm definitely going to watch It Comes At Night again, but the original "oh shit how's this going to play out" tension from certain scenes is gone, and that played a lot into my "like" category.

For people who have seen it, do you think the guys that shot at them from the woods were with Will? or it was really just a coincidence? I think the former, based on the later conversation Will and Paul have over drinks.
