I thought they were just a company that oversees multiple labels such as Vagrant and that it'd be published through one of them. I thought wrong.

 

Yea, the Tom stuff put a real sour taste in my mouth. I can't overstate how important this band was for me when I was 13-14 discovering music. I remember buying a new found glory cd just bc someone said they sounded a little bit like blink 182. They were a gateway to so many different genres for me musically..excited for this record and we are in for ONE HELL OF A YEAR. Imagine if we got brand new and blink in the same year? Just the idea that thrice, soasin, and blink released new music on the same day is so exciting.

 

Sounds like a Blink 182 song. Generic pop punk.

If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would think Blink released the best song on a day with those other two I would have laughed — but I think they did.

 

Mark just knows how to write a bridge unlike anyone in the genre... Just listen to motion city's hang man for reference

Man, this +44 album is good, I dunno if it's Blink euphoria from today and a few beers, but I really do like this album.

 

5 years ago, I thought LP6 was never coming.

 

At least they haven't bailed on me yet. Heheh.

I love Mark's lyrics on that album.

 

I want a better version of the new promo photo to use, but no one has it in a good quality yet.

 

I haven't visited blink or this album in a while.

 

It came on shuffle the other day and I was reminded of how good it is. Will always enjoy it more than a good chunk of Blink, honestly.

 

On "Weatherman" right now. It's great.

 

Ah ok. Its one i revisit every so often. Lilian and Cliffdiving are two favorites

 

My favorite by far is "Cliff Diving" off of that record.

 

I tried. A few more times. I cannot get into this song. I am more hopeful for the other 15 that are on the record. And this comes from a fan who couldnt live without this band in High School..

 

I'm in the same position but I can't get myself away from bored to death.

 

So there's 4 songs total under 2 minutes, and two of those are even under 30 seconds.

What are our guesses/thoughts on that?

 

Wow. They are playing pretty big venues. I would almost be willing to bet my oldest kid that they will add a second show at the Forum.

 

I am gonna go back when this finishes, then decide where to start in the Blink re-listen. (Which I will annoyingly live blog in this thread.) I've listened to that song soooo many times already, hahah.
