Did they address the women's title situation last night on NXT? I know the Asuka bit closed the tapings themselves, but because they already spilled the beans on WWE.com, I'm hoping they have some pretapes in the can to get the ball rolling rather than waiting til the next tapings.

 

They said Asuka will be appearing next week to talk about her future and such

 

I really, really, really hope they don't just hand the NXT women's belt to whoever wins the MYC. Would be so shitty. Worked for the cruisers because it was an inaugural thing for a main roster title.

I doubt they would do that for the record, I just hope they don't.

 

Definitely interesting timing though

 

A #1 contender slot, a spot in a title tournament, or even a bye to the finals of a title tournament would all be appropriate... just don't HHH them the goddamn thing.

 

Best way to introduce the new women to the roster would be the MYC winner to the finals, and like an 8 person tourney to determine the other contender. Basically what they did with the Universal title before Finn got hurt (2 4-person matches leading to a singles match)

And they have 2 months til takeover to get that done

 

I'm all for any of that, minus the HHHing.

 

Would be cool if the fatal four ways consisted of 2 NXT women and 2 MYC women in each. I know I'm touching fantasy booking territory with that though.

 

I really dont get why not. Theres a fun little story to be told of her winning a match or two as an underdog, since she's lost to most of NXTs bigger stars (Bayley, Alexa, Asuka, Nia, etc)

 

Makes perfect sense to me honestly, the womens division is too thin down there at the moment to produce 8 compelling entrants anyways. Cross/Ember/Peyton and/or Billy... and idek who else really to round out the NXT 4

 

Basically read my mind though. For people that didn watch the MYC, its the intro to the few they are gonna push heading towards the spring

 

Candace has to get signed, right?

 

Those are the 4 that came to mind for me.

 

Seems very obvious for sure who the final 4 could be. Could always be a surprise elimination though.

Only thing that worries me at the moment is that second round Toni Storm/Lacey Evans match. They seem to be making a big deal out of Lacey with this. Really don't wanna see Toni lose to her lol

Thinking Lacey gets a push in NXT after the tournament too

I told @enlliac the same thing after watching that. Toni is my pick and I want to see her go all the way

 

God damn, BOLA is this weekend.

 

It's a shame Toni and Kairi are on the same side of the bracket

 

i wonder if maybe we get another Takeover before SS. There is too much going on in NXT to have stuff on delay.

 

All I'm gonna say is that the final on smackdown is gonna be real interesting. Which city are they gonna be at?

 

Vegas. All of the competitors were told that they needed to be available for that date.

 

No BOLA spoilers pretty pretty please. Every year I tell myself I won't be spoiled until the Blu Ray is in hand. This year is gonna be the year lol

 

100% agree. Say what you want about her promos, but in-ring, Nattie is wonderful.
