Eyes of My Mother was pretty good, but it lacked a bit of a driving narrative force

It played out like a strange dream, especially with the remote landscape, the eerily beautiful music, the black-and-white, and the really strange cinematography. It was also that dude's directorial debut. I felt those things made up for the lack of a narrative-driven storyline. I thought it was pretty cool and unique for a horror movie on netflix

while true, i don't think it's inaccurate to say that it detracted at points from the film reaching its full potential

My mom was looking for something to watch on Netflix and I saw Creep and mentioned that it was good

She watched the whole thing and just have me a look and said the movie was weird

moderately disliked creep and fairly certain a sequel has no legs to it but, i guess we will see

About a year ago, mostly out of boredom and restlessness, I started messing around with clay. It really picked up this past spring, and in the past couple of months, I've grown so passionate about it that it's just about the only thing I do in my free time. Since nearly everything I've made varies from gross to unsettling, and because 95% of the time I'm sculpting, there's a horror movie on in the background, I figured I'd post the link to the Instagram account I just made for the things I create. It's nothing amazing at all, but I'm admittedly proud of the progress I've made since I bought my first brick of clay last year, so if you enjoy want to follow, I'd appreciate it!

Jason Segel has yet to do me dirty (except for maybe Sex Tape)

I didn't like creep at all but that seems to be the minority opinion

Gf and I started going through our Halloween list last week. Kicked it off with The Devils and then Evil Dead II. The countdown is officially on.

I loved Cyrus and eagerly awaited Jeff Who Lives at Home and found it to be one of the most dull movies I'd ever paid for, constantly falling into cliche indie movie tropes. I don't think there was one aspect of that movie that wasn't predictable or over the top corny. Sigourney Weaver lifting up her hands and smiling when the fire sprinklers went off in the office really sealed the deal for me. Cyrus had interesting characters that felt like real people. JWLAH more had caricatures of what people who belong in a quirky indie movie should act like. Anyways, not saying you're wrong for liking it, but that's why I personally did not find enjoyment in it.

I didn't see Sex Tape but I remember walking in on one scene and Cameron Diaz was naked and did a front flip off the couch onto Jason Segel's penis

  20. Sigourney Weaver isn't in Jeff Who Lives at Home, I think you mean Susan Sarandon (not that itchanges or invalidates your opinion at all haha)

  22. Sex Tape wasn't good, but I have a thing for trashy, easy to watch comedies so I didn't really mind it

  23. I was going to redirect the conversation by saying I wish we could get a Jason Segel horror movie and then I remembered The Discovery, which was more of a thriller but I kind of hated it

Sex Tape was inoffensively bland. Since Jason Segel is my boy I don't regret watching it. The Discovery was really fun.

Whuddup with all the best actors having names that start with "J?" Josh Peck, Jason Segel, James Franco, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Justin Long are like the top 5 actors of all time
