I think I was one of the people in this thread who was the LEAST excited for the new album (I was still pumped, but trying to contain myself unlike everyone else haha). This new song just did me in, though. I can't get enough of it. It has by far the most energy out of any song since their untitled record. It's still poppy and catchy, but it has the edge of untitled. What's not to love?

Also finally having something tangible lets me really take in everyone's influence. The song is clearly a product of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, Matt Skiba, and John Feldmann. Four veterans of the game, so there's no way it CAN'T be good. It really makes you realize how much of their last album was written by one person with hardly anyone else's direction then given to Travis to do his thing.

 

There are so many comments, I dunno if anyone posted but someone already did a cover of the song haha

 

Will spend hours trying to figure it out

 

The bridge is my favorite part I think, definitely refreshing.

I do hope with their new tour that they cut out all the Tom songs and replace them with these new ones. We don't need to hear First Date, Mark has plenty of hits.

The lyrics are really the only thing I don't like about the song.

 

I don't get the whole "it sounds like +44" thing. Mark has always sounded like Mark and will always sound like Mark.

 

Did anyone notice that the new blink182.com has an email subscribe sign-up that goes to Vagrant Records?

Wonder if this means blink is somehow now connect to Vagrant?
