I just want a place where I can talk about brand new and everyone could agree with me when I say that every song is the best song

Articles about Brand New that don't mention TDAG are weird.

Are we sharing the weirdest YouTube videos we've ever seen now?

Edit: you won't regret watching that video to the end

Thought of the night: I love the key change in 451 so much partly because the first time I heard it I didn't really understand it was a key change until the second chord change. It catches you off guard.

Either my 2nd or 3rd favorite MCR album.

Hipster Opinion: Three Cheers is the worst MCR album

thats the thing about modulating up a minor third in a minor key, it doesn't sound like a tonal change at first

i think the premise is very good but the execution fails pretty hard

  23. You seem to be in the minority on that one. Pretty much universal praise from music Twitter.

music twitter also "praised" the horrible diet cig review a while back, it was more the community that railed against that horrible piece. lindsay (and quinn, who wrote the diet cig review) are highly respected reviewers by others in the pitchfork/stereogum/spin/whatever publications all these people write for these days and i rarely see others in the community go against them even when ideas fail

a think a very good piece could have been written focusing on these rappers (though bringing up X at all is troubling, pitchfork giving it a review is troubling, i don't know why anyone writes about him these days) without trying to shoehorn in "emo" like they've been trying to for peep without brand new randomly becoming a part of this article, especially when she obviously hasn't followed the band in years. as i said, the concept is incredibly interesting and a good piece in this current musical climate i just think it could have been executed better. and the people i've spoken to seem to agree with me
