Not that I know of. I wonder if it's because it's the second track, and the first track starts with the sample so people skip it if they just want to hear music.

EDIT: Actually, it's listed first in their "Top Songs" on Apple Music, followed by most of the rest of the album, except "Batter Up". "Quite Things" comes before that, and then most of Deja. But I honestly don't know if "Top Songs" is overall most played or if it takes into account current popularity, i.e. how much/how often the song is being played now.

I believe they have that song pinned as their artist pick, so in practice it's the single for the album. At least on Spotify.

as far as early 2000s classics go Worship & Tribute and The Used S/T are two more great ones. 2002 was a hell of a year

Yup you're right. Didn't even see that Artist Pick there. But also what Kid said, my friend who doesn't listen to Brand New regularly did that exact thing haha - heard the first track of talking, and skipped it to the next one. I was like NOOOOO

It's been playing on Alt Nation so safe to say it's the single at this point.

I posted this as an edit to my last post, but I'll re-post here:

But I honestly don't know if "Top Songs" is overall most played or if it takes into account current popularity, i.e. how much/how often the song is being played now. Or some combination of the two.

Guess I'll stop holding my breath for a cd to show up. Reached out to PMT regarding my "Limited vinyl" order and to see if I should be expecting a cd and got the following response:

"Hello, the Science Fiction album you purchased is on pre-order and will ship in October as stated in the product description. You will receive tracking via email when it ships. We do not know the exact day in October it will ship. We are not associated with any CDs previously shipped. Sorry I can't help you more with that!"

What it is to burn is their better album imo. Say hello to Sunshine has some good stuff on it but its a bit all over the place/too inconsistent at times and that third one don't even remember the name of it was too safe and boring

Another great album from that era was Hell is for Heroes The Neon Handshake. I totally forgot about that band until just now

Finch got me thinking how I wish Death From Above 1979 didn't drop the 1979 from their name.

Their name screams generic at me now

I feel like a bunch of albums that I love came out in 2007. Others mentioned the albums I love from 2006 already

I'm pretty sure 2006-2007 wad the best back to back years of music ever. So many good albums during this time period.
