Not sure if there are many Lawrence Arms fans here, but Brendan tweeted that the song was great during the down time between when the song leaked and when it was "officially" premiered and posted online.

 

I'm okay with the July 1st release date. If I could pick a date I want this thing in my hands, it would be right smack dab in the middle of the summer, so that lines up nicely.

That being said, I really hope we get to hear another track or two before that date.

I just cant get into it. Its kind of flat and ho-hum. I was expecting more. Something faster. something that showcases all three guys in this "new" band. Theres 15 other songs to think about now. And it will be interested to see the turnout for those shows...ATL and ADTR both outdraw 182 and AAR right now.

@Jason Tate it was sort of glossed over earlier, but thanks having this awesome space for all of these awesome fans to talk, complain, make fun of each other, and hangout for events like this. It's even better not having to deal with server crashes and get flooded with social media messages in the middle of figuring out a problem you are very aware is going on I am sure haha. Can't think of a better band to test this all out with on the new site. I'd say tonight was a resounding success.

 

Im excited to see how Brand New news will go over. Considering the thread blew up over an Instagram post I can't imagine an album announcement.

Haha, of course! Thanks for being here. Gonna be interesting to see everything when it all shakes out, but we definitely had the most people online we've had yet ... and the servers handled it swimmingly, which was awesome. No issues at all on either. I looked earlier at the graph for fun ....



Mid-day compared to all of yesterday. And yesterday was a nice traffic day. So, yeah, I'd say so far stressful as fuck because I was getting prepared for tomorrow when it all happened (literally was writing the post for tomorrow morning, which was nice cause I had the image made already), so I had to switch plans immediately, but successful! I am treating myself to some beers later for sure and hoping the band doesn't hate me too much. Heh.
