I don't understand the calculus on firing a missile at Japan. I get that NK and Japan aren't friendly but I would've expected them to attack South Korea before Japan. Is this even an attack or is it a heavyhanded threat? I'm so confused...

Don't get me wrong, this is absolutely fucking terrifying, but is this a misleading description/title?? I'm so confused.. I keep hearing reports that it flew over and landed in the sea, and other reports that another unidentified missile launched? I don't know what news to trust.
