Complete opposite at that show in SLC. It was terrible. The band didn't like it, the crowd didn't like it, that song is bad

me and @715creeks were playing this game called Amonia on saturday with our wives, its basically a matching game where youre trying too name things as you see them. a card came up that said "Science Fiction author", and instead of naming a book writer or something @715creeks yelled out "BRAND NEW" and i died

BUT

I'll admit I've seen plenty of shows where I walked out and thought "fuck, that setlist was really not worth the money." It's the risk you take when you buy a ticket, though.

Also re: Mike Kinsella in my much younger 10+ years ago days I yelled out "Places to Go" at an Owen show and he yelled back that that song sucks, win some lose some I guess.

 

The moral of your Mike Kinsella story is that yelling song names is stupid
