One of the best parts of this is that Matt seems to be loving life right now

 

Hearing Matt and Mark together was on my musical bucket list, and it was glorious! Fully on board with all of this. This is the caliber of material I was hoping for when the reunion was announced in 2009.

Finally getting to listen on good speakers and dig this song a lot more. I am fully on board the train again. I got off for a stop there after hearing it at work on my mobile phone speakers.

Also, will be going to the Cleveland and Pitt dates to see each lineup.

That's the way to do it. Did the same thing on the reunion tour where I saw Blink, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco! at Hershey and Blink, Weezer, Taking Back Sunday at Camden.

 

My guess is same time things usually go up on iTunes and such.

Which means a track listing is probably coming.

I wonder if they had been discussing California as an album theme when Tom was in the band. There were a couple of songs on his odds and ends demo thing that were related to Cali subtly and with a heavy hand

You just heard it...didn't you?...

 

This feels different, in a good way. I remember when Up All Night dropped after the hiatus and I was just happy to hear a Mark / Tom song again. But it was more of a nostalgic feeling. The entire reunion was built on nostalgia.
This truly feels like the next chapter. Like let's imagine if Mark and Travis continued blink after ST and the +44 album was the next Blink album and Neighborhoods and DED never happened. This seems like the natural evolution on that track.
