So my friend bailed on me and I won't be able to afford the trip from Texas on my own, so we are selling our two passes to the fest.

We got them at 170 after fees so we'd like to sell at 340 for the pair which is less than what they go for now, but are willing to negotiate!

I'm so torn on that Saturday after show. It starts at 9pm and I've never seen Queens of the Stone Age before...

Anybody have any hints as to who the headliner is for that sucker? The fact that they say they are "monumental" feels almost too obvious, but...

 

I'd guess whoever the headliner is (it's GOTTA be the flatliners) don't go on until like 12-12:30 so you'd have plenty of time to make it! Plus Pkew Pkew Pkew is the best. Everyone from here should go, it'll be the unofficial Chorus party!

 

I'm too old for this shit. But fuck. If it's the Flatliners... I may be sold...

Listened to Cavalcade on my commute this morning and it and Dead Language are probably the most underrated punk/pop-punk albums of our scene this decade

 

Cavalcade is truly a masterpiece. I don't understand how they didn't blow up after that album. They should be at least Menz level fame

Query for those who have bought/sold tickets somebody else originally purchased: how exactly do they enforce the "no re-sales / transfers" deal, what with the name on the tickets and all? Had some things come up and need to get rid of our tickets, but confused as to how we'd have to go about doing that.

 

Are they just printed out tickets? I have had to sell mine or give to friends before and they don't check the name. You should be fine just e-mailing the pdf files over to whoever is buying them or uploading onto stubhub, etc.

 

I'm pretty sure they just put that so that if an issue comes up, the person who bought the tickets can't blame Riot Fest for them not working. The official stance of any venue/festival is that you should not buy resale tickets.

 

Last year we ended up with an extra because my friend had one and I got a pair from chorus, and we sold her printed out ticket at the gate with no issues. Should be fine just emailing / StubHubing it
