Pitchfork reviewers make a living off of personally attacking people. They personally attacked me by ranking Ok Go's first two releases both below a 3. PERSONALLY ATTACKED.

This album sounds like the album Turnover were listening to when they wrote the last record

This record is bliss. Been such a long time since I've listened to something where every single song is an unencumbered joy! Probs AOTY at this point.

It's so weird. In 2015 I would have never guess Turnover would be my #1, and it was with TFB following closely in second. We might get a repeat if TFB is as good as the single they just released.

Same with mine. Although, Thursday is my birthday so it'll be a nice gift but I was hoping to get it before this weekend.

Yeah and the worst part is the variant sold out. So I got a refund and now I'm getting some brown and green variant. Not what I wanted though.

Finally got a chance to listen and this is fantastic. Really pleased how it turned out. It's weird cus it doesn't sound all that different from PV but it's just so much happier and bouncier. I know someone(s) said it's like two sides of a coin and that's a perfect description. You can tell it occupies the same headspace as the person who wrote PV, but at a time when things are going much better for them and that's pretty cool.

Just had my first listen. I didn't really get into Magnolia but was huge into PV. This seems like a much brighter/happier record and there's some great songs on here, some of the tracks blended together but I think they'll stand out more individually after repeated listens. I went and and bought this after only hearing 1 or 2 singles and I'm very happy with it.

I'm still definitely into this. It's not a record that will make my top 10, but it has a vibe that I like and need and appreciate. It's like a smooth, cool drink of water. I see it being a good "comedown" record after long days, or when I'm feeling stressed, or when I'm just laying around with my girlfriend. Good shit.

I kind agree but the record makes me a little dizzy

After a few listens, I think Sunshine Type, Curiosity, Pure Devotion, and All That It Ever Was are highlights. ATIEW is such a cool 60's sounding song, I can't describe it. Living Small is easily my least favorite though as it sounds pretty monotonous unfortunately

I think Peripheral Vision is a better record with more diversity to it, but I like this record. I don't think it will have as much as lasting value as Peripheral Vision - which I still listen to weekly during the right time of year and was my #2 the year it came out - and I don't think the songs are as memorable on early listens.

I really dislike Curiosity. It's hailed as one of the best on the album a lot here, but I just find the chorus really cheesy.

Curiosity is actually one of the ones I really love, the verses especially.

Disappointed with this so far. Will need a lot more listens.

Listened a couple times this weekend, really like it. No song quite as good as "Humming" but the lyrics aren't glaringly cheesy and the melodies are more interesting. Psyched!

I don't mind the verses! It's just the delivery of the chorus is horribly cheesy to me.

Hard disagree. The chorus to Curiosity is one of my favorite parts of the album

Ah well. I think there's plenty other fantastic songs that wipe the floor with that song.

We reach for the longest shadow

@cwhit we brought up the the american scene earlier, and i couldnt pin point it exactly before, but i finally heard it. its in the palm muted staccato leads in Butterfly Dream. i think he does it a couple other times too, but that screams TAS's Haze.

anyway, i still love this. PV was my AOTY 2015, and this might not be 1 but it is definitely top 5. i understand that it isnt that great to everyone, but this band just scratches an itch for me that few do.

Got the vinyl yesterday after a busy weekend. Great to unwind and relax as this summer is winding down. Liking it more after two weeks of listening

5/6/7 are the weaker tracks on this one. Enjoying this overall.

  25. BN was the only thing that pulled me off of this album (and this album is what pulled me off of MO)....but I keep coming back to this one the most.

When my vinyl arrived last week I noticed it said recorded in September '16. Interesting that it took a year for them to put this out
