Thanks. He is extremely lucky, for several reasons, to be playing for a team of Spurs' stature imo.

Glad City scored tbh Bournemouth's antics were making me mad

City score two minutes after stoppage time finishes because City get a free kick for a Bournemouth player winning the ball.

    Best team in the world.

The diving, shitty tackles from City don't bother you?

The complaints from Pep and getting in How's face don't either? City have been far from clean today.

Begovic was warned for time wasting multiple times with no yellow cards. Hate that. Give the keeper a yellow. That's one of my biggest peeves in the game.

Pep has a right to be mad about time wasting. Fergie time was a thing for the exact same reason.

Nah fuck that Pep was not "arguing" about time wasting. He was jumping up and down in Howe's face like the little baby he is.

Bournemouth had a few bad tackles but City were awful today. Kicking and taking players out off the ball consistently and diving.

After the goal Guardiola went up and celebrated in front of Howe. Classy. Could you imagine spending the money on the players they have and getting such a bitter wanker you have to run to a Bournemouth manager to celebrate in front of him :crylaugh:

He accomplished what his team needed. No different Klopp or many others. And he was right--no matter how childishly he proved his point.

City received plenty of yellows--six if I recall correctly. They were held accountable for their actions quite well in that regard. Begovic was not held accountable for his actions, so I'm glad karma stepped in. That's it.

This response will make me sound way more defensive than City/Pep than I actually feel... but United's spent more money lately and has a coach famous for poking another coach in the eye. Like. C'mon now.

They can both be wankers. They probably both are. But yeah. There's not really a moral high ground for United here.

I'm not trying to take a moral high ground though? I'm not saying he's any worse than any other dickhead manager, but Mourinho being man united manager doesn't stop me from calling out Pep for being a massive wanker.

    Trusted

Badstuber just scored. So happy for the lad.

Some background info: Badstuber used to be one the greatest CB talents in Germany coming from the Bayern youth (just like Hummels and also around the same time). He ruptured his cruciate ligament against Dortmund in late 2012 and afterwards had pretty much the worst string of bad luck with multiple injuries right after coming back from a previous injury. Last winter he was loaned to Schalke which didnt really work out quite well and this summer he was sold to re-promoted VfB Stuttgart.

He is pretty much universally liked in Germany because of his fighting spirit to never give up and always coming back from all the bad injuries he had to suffer during all those years.

If he hasn't managed a win after 5 games he is gone. He will be 1st PL manager sacked this season.
