Damn, this has been a crazy day. Work is the busiest it's been in a long time, so i'm swamped at a counter dealing with customers... while meanwhile I've got a tab open refreshing this forum in between. Had to rush out to my car and listen to the song once when it leaked, and inevitably had to explain to my boss what "that was all about." He laughed and asked, "so did it sound.. like a song?" Definitely doesn't get it haha. Can't wait to listen again in twenty minutes when I'm off!

 

Matt definitely sings the entire first chorus outside of the "life's too short.." lines.

 

Really hilarious to think that we can't tell the difference between Mark and Matt, well not definitively anyway.

I think Mark opens, then Matt starts before the chorus, during the chorus and entire second verse.

Hear Me Out: This song is about premature ejaculation. There, now we can officially appreciate the song in full.

 

If the band really is planning on dropping the album on Friday, it sucks that it got spoiled in the way that it did. However, purely from a marketing angle, it makes a lot of sense: fans have been letdown w/ stops and stalls over the past few years, there's really no reason to announce it's coming out in July or whenever b/c the hype has become an powder keg, so why not drop it digitally? Take the route Beyonce has used and release any physical copies later on, in a month or whatever. If all the speculation is true, it's a terrific approach and services the fans, which is something blink probably knows they need to do after all of the Tom drama.

 

I really feel this song should have just ended after the last chorus. That ending drags it out for about 45 seconds loger than it needed to be

It's more the format of "*Age* and a ...." that he's used like 4 or 5 times rather than just talking about ages. Mark's mentioned ages plenty of times before too. I guess it's just an easy thing to do.

 

If there was one less "oh oh oh" section and one more chorus at the very end, it would have been extra bangin.

 

The entire bridge is Mark, and the last chorus is also Mark.

I just realized this is probably the first Blink song in 15 that actually has vocals in the bridge.
