Thus why I said the ideal is that WWE finds a way to keep him and involve him in only big angles. If that satiates his need, thats a huge win.

But if he's gonna go somewhere full-time and throw caution to the wind, might as well be to the place that can push WWE and force them to reconsider their model a bit. And while you are completely right about their style being a risk, I feel like he'd still be pretty protected because they cant risk big PR issues on the back of things like Shibata's injury.

I just really dont want to see him wrestling PWG, taking crazy bumps for a crowd of 300 people for no good reason.

Brian wants to do around 40-60 dates a year.

 

He's free to do what he wants and I wouldn't begrudge anyone for watching him if he returns. If it's in in WWE, I'm not saying I'll boycott his matches or anything. He obviously know his health better than I do. I just find it odd that he had lesions on his brain from wrestling, had multiple seizures he couldn't control, has had numerous concussions and he's still fit to wrestle. Our knowledge of concussions these days feels like ACL or Tommy John Surgery in the 1980's where it's like "we know as much as we possibly can, but we'll look back and laugh at how dumb we were in 20 years."

Bryan wasn't exactly working a NJPW or shoot fighting style in WWE. I don't think he can really work much safer than to eliminate the flying headbutt. I dunno. Like I said, he and his docs know his health better than I do and I'll almost assuredly watch him. But, seizures and the brain aren't things to fuck around with, even if he's been cleared to wrestle by other doctors.

So if you guys want to discuss the fight in here tonight, feel free. Keep the under-card out of here. I'll be discussing Triple-Mania, probably by myself. They are going to intermission for the boxing match, with the main event playing after it. Supposedly it's going to be the most watched wrestling match of the last 15 years in all of North America. Half because McGregor/Mayweather is on free tv on the same channel in Mexico, half because Dr Wagner vs. Psycho Clown in a mask vs mask match is a huge fucking deal

Mundo match is third highest on the card and he is defending all three major titles for the promotion. lol

 

Yeah i need to check out that Triplemania main event. Very intriguing. Pretty sure no one will say a single word about the undercard to the fights tonight.

 

The purses for the fight tonight are insane.

 

Yeah. Floyd expected to make 200 million+ once everything is said and done and Conor 100 million+. Fuck.

 

Is it true that if McGregor fucks up (like, kicks Mayweather or something), he loses the entire purse?

 

Mayweather still owes back taxes on his Manny fight, so he's not going to come away with as much as predicted. Its still an insane number though.

 

I wouldn't even know what to do with all that money.
