Today my 60 years old coworker reassured me that there's nothing wrong with living at home with your parents, times have changed and rent is just too damn high. It's best I save a song much money as possible. Also I wouldn't be able to travel if I didn't live in my family home. So there's nothing to worry about. I kinda needed that.

 

there is this ad for like this medicine and it weirds me out everytime I see it.

It's basically an actor's portrayal of a real story so I sit there like all these people are fake and pretending to be happy and not the real story?

these are the things I think of late.

 

I kinda find it funny how my friend and I always rant to our bfs about the same people at work, especially this one lady who is always extra and annoys everyone because she can't do her job right, doesn't listen, and doesn't get written up for not doing her job

 

folks i'm excited, i just unfollowed like five pages of threads so my "followed threads" feature might actually be useful to me again. i feel like i'm entering a new era on chorus.

 

I hate when I think a page has fully loaded so I click a link but right as I click it the rest of the page loads and it shifts everything so I end up clicking a different link on accident. Im using a fossil for a phone rn that loads slowly so it keeps happening to me!!!

 

I'm going away for the weekend with my mom and I forgot how slow she is. I ate breakfast, showered, did my hair, full face of makeup, got dressed and packed in the time it took for her to put on masacara and get dressed. How????

 

What are you all doing this wkend? I'm supposed to be going out to a bar tonight with an acquaintance in which I will try not to make dumb jokes all night because I cannot relate to women ever. Then just boring errands and stuff during the day saturday. Then saturday night my husband and I are trying the first cider bar in Chicago! I'm super excited because I'm not into beer or hard alcohol and I hate the crappy cider from the grocery store. I hope they have some good quality cider! Then sunday I'm going to buy some yummy tea from some fancy store downtown and then the farmers market. Hopefully I don't just lay on the couch and netflix binge all wkend instead.

 

i got the whole weekend off work. last weekend before school starts so i'm being extra lazy for the next 48

 

I live in an old white people neighborhood so when the new neighbors moved in last week everyone was shook.

The reason why? It's a bunch of college dudes renting the house.

My next door neighbor even went over there to talk to them and then gossip to us about their talk.

 

Got a buddies gallery show on Saturday. Besides that, I'm not doing shit this weekend.

 

Going to the farmers market today and hanging with my sisters and nephew. Tomorrow my mom is coming to town so she wants to go shopping. Hopefully Sunday is a nothing just chill day.

 

Crazy driver encounter just recently. Came up to a yellow light and knew I wasn't going to make it so I stopped. Lady behind me had to slam on her breaks because I guess she thought she was going to speed thru the red. She got REALLY mad, and started throwing a fit and yelling. Even came up beside me in the other lame and starting yelling. Almost thought she was going to follow me. At this point I'm glad I stopped because I can't stand people who run red lights because they're too quick to get somewhere

 

Doing nothing sounds really nice

 

Tonight was weird. I'm house sitting for my dad and my nephew came over. They live out of town. They forgot my nephews fave blanket when they went back home tho. My nephew was crying and telling my sister to call the police lol like he has never slept without it. So I drove to their town and took it to him. Except I'm using my dads spare key which he hides in a dumb spot so I took it with me so the shady neighbors couldnt see where he keeps it. I got in my car and dropped it, naturally. Looked everywhere. When I got to my sisters we both looked with flashlights and nope. I decided to drive to my house cause its 5 minutes from my dads and figured when my other sister got home she could let me in my dad's house and I'd get up early in the morning to make another spare. But then my gas light turned on. The only gas station in the town was closed and there's nothing between that town and mine so i had to cross my fingers until I got back into civilization. Then I drove back to my dads and still couldn't find the key. Drove to my house, decided to look once more, and I finally found it!!!!

Anyway yeah I thought I was just gonna sleep but then I had a 1.5 hour period of mishap

 

The downside of my route to my current job is I'm sure it's a main truck route. There's always big rigs at all times of day and night. It's 3 lanes on that part of the interstate, but what irritates me is that I see these big trucks drive in the fast lane because they don't want to be "stuck" behind the trucks in the other 2 lanes. There are signs stating trucks must use the first 2 lanes, and sometimes I see them weaving in and out. Pretty frightening. Oh and the majority of the road is not lit and dark and I nearly ran out of gas one time and had to stop at a creepy gas station, luckily the mart was open and had employees working which made me feel a tad safer.

"Gas station was closed" is something that doesn't happen outside two very weird states!

 

Two states that create tons of jobs, slaying it!! That was just a weird gas station lol cause it was only 10pm! Everything around here closes absurdly early I cannot

 

I live for all the tacky weddings in that Four Weddings show. And its so upsetting when the rudest most stick in the mud contestant wins the honeymoon!!

 

did you see they're bringing it back except with rl friends instead of strangers? just trying to ruin relationships by having people criticize their friends' weddings lol
