The content of that first article is literally the smoking gun, and we've known it for weeks. I don't understand why more people aren't talking about it.

I didn't get as far as thinking about the news in the context of the hurricane, my first thought was "fucking piece of shit"

I can't believe Trump is using the media coverage around Harvey to ban transgender service members and pardon Arpaio with less room for criticism. Whole new level of disgusting.

It'll be interesting to see how anyone can justify this. Arpaio is a monster.

 

They gotta just make up stories about how he was doing his job and it worked. Doesn't matter if its not the truth, people will believe it.

 

But, see, this is how little of a fuck trump and republicans give. The next democratic president should just go all in. Pardon Assata, push single payer through, increase tax levels to 80%, racial redistribution, etc. These people care nothing for anyone, aside from the racists upper-middle class fucks that support them. When the left wins, we should focus on punishing them. Severely.

 

That last week or so I've been away from this thread and twitter and news in general. It's been amazing for my overall mental health but I come back to that pardon and trans ban and now I feel angry and bad for being "out of it" grrrr
