I remember "The Gold" leak where I listened to it one and a half times before it got pulled and I didn't get it for another 3 weeks. Seems like so long ago now. Less than 2 weeks until the tour!

I wonder if we get a video for "The Grocery" next week right before the tour.

 

The end of the silence may be my favorite MO moment of all time. I just scream sang it in my car and I'm tearing up

I'm leaning towards this also, but it's a tough one.
(Yes I realize that's a wishy washy answer)

 

Lit Me Up and Batter Up are probably my least favourite songs on that album so easily The Maze and The Silence.

 

I really don't want to play that game because I adore both records. I also think they both compliment each other very well, as others have previously pointed out. I just went a walk and listened to Science Fiction, now I'm going to put on ABMTTS after dinner.

 

Both are good records but I prefer Black Mile to Science Fiction. Not everything has to be about Brand New.

 

I wish I could go for a walk and listen to this. But it's hotter than hell and the Air Quality Index is in the 'Uhealthy' range. I hate summer.

 

If Lit Me Up didn't have the "when I grow up, I wanna be a heretic" part, my answer might be different. I also love when the lady's voice starts getting all distorted and nightmarish.

Lit me up and the silence. Really love batter up, it's like the perfect slow burner but the silence is incredible

The Maze is my favourite on Black Mile so I'd have to choose The Maze and The Silence at this stage. Really like all four songs though.

Lit me up and The Maze is a real Sophie's choice for me

 

But you need to start preparing that AOTY list lol

I think the emotional connection I have to lyrics on this album really makes it hard to beat.

 

I'll cross that bridge when I get there. but it will be really hard for sure, I'm sure i'll give it to Brand New bc its probably their final album, I'm sure both albums will get equal listens.

This record is just amazing. I'm still listening to it a ton. My wife is obsessed with it too.
