I think if it's close we should get to do one or the other or both. That'd be a cool dynamic for a comp.

hmm that could be cool. like, a TBS VS. BN comp. the only thing i'd be concerned about is if 10 people decide to do BN songs and just 1 person decides to do TBS, it'd be dumb. haha.

 

I'd be concerned with that as well. If we did it it'd be cool to do a split type thing with Brand New (Side A) and TBS (Side B).

yeeeeeeeeeah.... i just wasn't feelin' the version i was working on. it sucks because this is the first comp i haven't submitted a track to. sorry man!

 

I promise I have 2 TBS covers if and when it comes!

 

Count me out of this comp I guess. I love BN, TBS and NFG but I wouldn't dare cover/butcher one of their songs and TSwift would sue us for a dollar for touching her songs inappropriately.

Ok but what if like whoever gets the least songs gets to be the next comp. OR make it a requirement to do one of each. Let's explore our creativity and shit.

I'm gonna try and give everyone feedback over the weekend for the LP songs. There was only like 9 of them

 

If we do one of each, I already have Great Romances of the 20th Century good to go, and I've been planning on doing The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot sometime this year. (please don't steal )
