Honestly underrated

 

I honesty can't relate to anyone wishing this was a thread strictly for SF at this point. We somehow got to Bionicle and Animorphs, and that is just something you have to appreciate. This is a special place.

 

Oh yeah.... I enjoyed getting those comics.

Something about... masks.... that's all I remember.

 

i played more with the toys than reading any background info, but those toys were dope.

Got this for my birthday and remember struggling to get it to morph back to human form on the reg.

 

There was a cool point and click bionicle game on their site when I was a kid, I loved it

 

Not to get back on topic of the actual album, but any chance this gets any Grammy recognition? I'd say unlikely however, the cutoff date is next month and there haven't been many typical big rock album releases this year and hopefully a No. 1 album will put this on voters radars.

 

Remember when Jake was going away with his family and his alien-infested brother was either going to infest their father or kill him?

 

Or when Jake (I think?) was psychologically tortured for like, months and had PTSD afterwards.

 

Depends if Brand New submits it. Grammys are lame but it'd be cool if this band got one for their final album

lol I would laugh so hard if Brand New got nominated for a Grammy...thats just so...not them. Imagine Jesse's acceptance speech. "thanks". Ha

 

I had a couple. They all had these ridiculous, disproportionate bodies to conceal their beastly sides.

 

Seems like such an odd thing to make an action figure out of. They were humans that changed into animals but like, they never really fought as humans? Or really had much "action" at all? The feeling I always got from Animorphs was a covert, guerilla war against an evil alien force and not like He-Man/Transformers action show.

 

Was anyone else obsessed with the Andalite Chronicles spinoff? No? Just me? ok...

I feel like I remember reading the first couple, but nowhere near my obsession with Animorphs.
