He was just playing the confident gimmick. That's what he does, but he was responding positively to the crowd and didn't say anything to bury anyone.

Its crazy how much steam he's picked up over the last year or so. I guess being a fucking idiot in the ring gets eyes on you.

 

He is pretty well-liked among peers though, no? Was under the impression he and Lio were pretty close, and it doesn't seem very PWG to book an asshole

 

It was more so a shot at some of the spots he's done in the last year or so. He's a great guy, and I enjoy most of his body of work. Watching him collapse a porta-potty roof on top of Jake Roberts might be my favorite live wrestling experience ever. lol

BUTTTTTTTT:
-he did that spot with Zandig off a building into a truck
-he fell from the rafters of a sports complex on Lio

There are other things I'm not remembering, but his mini-doc goes into detail about it all.

 

Wtf I was there too lol. Some fat dude who was facing Sabin I think on that show bailed outta the ring and asked for a chair, and when i went to hand him mine security yelled at me and told me to sit down lol

 

I think everyone on this site that lives on the East Coast was there. Or they should have been. Thrice! Hot Rod Circuit! American Nightmare! From Autumn to Ashes! Power outages! X-Pac!

 

Was at a show that had less than 50 people at it and Janela was in the middle of a long (for that setting) feud with Penelope Ford and he sat next to me in the crowd selling an injury while Ford wrestled and after she won, he grabbed my shoulder, stage-whispered "be careful, I'm hurt" and limped into the ring

 

I wish I was there...

Didn't realize that was Janela who did that.

 

Me and my buds got really drunk and wound up using an alternate exit to the hotel that emptied on to the festival grounds. First thing we did was find the ring, tightened up the turnbuckles, and went to town.

A huge dick move in retrospect but no regrets because no damage was done and it was a blast.

Skate and Surf festival when they revived it for a year in 2015 I believe.

 

When they brought Skate and Surf back to Asbury two years ago.

 

Skate and Surf 2015, Jersey Championship Wrestling ran shows throughout both days. Was too much fun.
