Wait for it to hit stores before you freak out people, they made more of these than they made of the NES Mini (even though the NES was the more popular console) and they certainly did not put evey single on they made up for pre-order, all hope is not lost

 

That's a sweet case, I might have to pick up one of them for my Pi.

 

I wonder if the lines for this will be longer than the Switch come release day. I got lucky and didn't have to wait in line for more than a couple hours and managed to be about 10th in line to snag a Switch. Hoping for a similar experience with this, but I have my doubts.

Is Mario + Rabbids going to be good? Who's planning on picking it up? I haven't kept up on it at all since the initial trailer but I am pretty interested. I'm in no rush to get it as I'm just starting to hit my stride with Splatoon so I'll wait to see what everyone has to say about it.

for a while I was like holy shit day one purchase but now I've leaned more towards getting it later down the road since I still have other stuff in the backlog to finish. It still looks dopw though.

Even if they were easily available to buy, the Raspberry Pi is a better option in every way. You can buy SNES controllers and feel the same thing.

 

I have a bluetooth SNES controller that I was using on my iPad. I'm also just in the mood to build something.

 

No SNES controller is as good as the ones Nintendo makes though.

Also the SNES Classics isn't meant to be the definitive emulation solution for hard core gamers obviously (that would be any modern computer). It's a high quality collectors item and a novelty product.

 

The absence of the other Donkey Kong Country games is a dealbreaker; there is no reason for them not to be there.
