An album that would make my top 15 is a little known Canadian band called Pilate (later changed their name to Pilot Speed) their album Caught by the Window is a classic for me.

There are definitely a couple really good songs on there ("Lights & Sounds," "Martin Sheen or JFK," "Rough Landing, Holly," "Sure Thing Falling," "Holly Wood Died") and some others that are decent, but it did not need to be a 15-track album by any means.

Also Strata - Strata Presents the End of the World. That album turned 10 this year as did Come Now Sleep by ACB both would crack my top 15 as well.

I love both and they are both probably in a top 10 for the years they came out but they probably wouldn't make my top 20

Oh and another record in my top 15 that people would laugh at. Less Than Jake Hello Rockview

    Newbie

Feels great to have BN back in the spotlight again. I've only heard the album 2-3 times so far all the way through. I'm really trying to avoid the obssessive, overplayed trap that I usually fall into.

Great thread. I kept reading about some cool horns/brass part that I apparently missed. Last night I was reading along with the lyrics for the first few songs, zoned out for a minute, then got sucked back in when the trumpets crescendoed... and suddenly the hype for Same Logic/Teeth made sense.

Thoughts on In the middle of it all? Def different for them but I dig it. Can't wait to hear the whole record. Glad I pre ordered it.

Deftones have been a recent love of mine, i got into them last year before Gore dropped. DE is probably "better" but WP is my favorite tied with the S/T

rather than list my top 15, I think it'd be fun to have a user who knows me well enough take a guess at what it'd be. Paging @CoffeeEyes17 @cwhit and/or @Benjamin Lee

This changes a lot but a top fifteen for me, in no particular order and with only one album from each band, would probably look something like:

    Good Mourning
    Devil and God
    On Letting Go
    The Room's Too Cold
    The 59 Sound
    Clarity
    Mean Everything to Nothing
    Sticks & Stones
Through Being Cool/Stay What You Are (screw it, my list my rules, can't decide)
    ...Is A Real Boy
    Based On A True Story
    Tell All Your Friends
    Pinkerton
    Suburbia
    Paper Walls
